Kash Patel has been confirmed as FBI Director.
Now this could get interesting... much like I felt when the DNC, FBI, and Schiff started investigating Trump, you can't miss they have to have ironclad evidence, period.

Jon Stewart recently stated that he tries to avoid using the word fascism as much as possible to preserve its meaning and prevent a "boy who cried wolf" effect. He’s right to be cautious with language, but this is truly starting to feel like a dictatorship.

Dictatorship? there were loads of people feeling the same way about Bidens executive orders and appointments.
LOL, they were wrong then just as you are now.

I'm sure they'll bring the FBI back in line of being a domestic crime investigative and enforcement agency and not as a political arm of an administration by using them to target perceived threats of the administration and people with certain letters after their name

The Biden FBI has just recently been marching around Washington in masks, pretending to be the white supremacists Patriot Front,

and all the 3% militias in the US were actually FBI fronts. 75% of all FBI agents were involved in the political J6 persecutions. Up to 200 agents were dressed in MAGA gear and instigating trouble at the Capitol on January 6.

I suppose Trump is doing his job -- projecting the impression of potential significant changes.
Nothing ever changes.
The mad slide into chaos and injustice will continue unabated, thank you.
As it has been doing for centuries.
Or wait -- this time it's different! This time the difference between the two political factions is real, and critically important!
Lucy is doing a good job holding that football. Once again, Charlie Brown is ready to believe.
It's only cynical if it doesn't end up being true.

Spent 4 years of Biden being told to be afraid of this, fear that, and a lot of people bought it lock, stock, and barrel. The same ones who are miserable now
I'll take optimism every day of the week, haven't you heard you fake it till you make it?
Besides Im in the home stretch, I'll be lucky to have 10 good years. So far 2025 has been very good to me with apologizes to Chico Escuela

Oh it's all very good, I can respect that. I'm merely trying to temper the fiery passions of youthful enthusiasm, when tempted to vengence by an enticing vision of justice. Or being a bit of a cynical old fart myself.
Best wishes for a gentle and enjoyable flirtation with decrepitude.

I understand the sentiment just not sure if it's the best thing for the country right now unless they have ironclad undisputable evidence, would rather safeguard it from ever occurring again
The weird thing is that I lean conservative even though according to isidewith.com I have a populist streak. So while I rarely have a candidate that ticks all the boxes. I still want however the President to do great and have a thriving economy because our industry is so susceptible to economic fluctuations, hell we were reeling from the protests before COVID hit. We have had bad years with Democrats and bad years with Republicans, but easily preferred Trump to Clinton, Biden, or Harris, besides its obvious he won which means for now he has the majority of the voters' confidence, he has mine because with all his flaws his is resilient AF, and sometimes that is all it takes.
Now there is just a little bit of hope and a chance at a really good spring and summer in comparison to the last 4-6 years.
What's the saying "If I'd known I was gonna live this long I'd taken better care of myself. "
Fix the border end some wars build a prosperous economy, and a relatively safe society I'd be down for that.

Dan Bongino just got picked as FBI Assistant Director. There is going to be some long over overdue house cleaning going on, what America needs if it wants to survive.
