Well, back to Kimmel, he and many others, as I posted above, believe CK was spreading hate and nobody here is celebrating. Whitewashing CK is not celebrating his death, it is bringing to light how words others' deem as hate speech and propaganda can incite unstable people to commit acts of violence. Kimmel also was trying to bring to light how Trump is using CK's death to further his authoritarian grip on the people.

Kimmel needed to apologize on Wednesday night's show, and he refused.
Then Disney execs got info that Kimmel was going to double down and blast them in his Wednesday night monologue.
That’s why he got shelved.

His show was a money loser and Disney/ABC decided they weren't going to allow him on the air Wed night.
With the affiliate backlash, shelving his show was the only and best financial option.
