Israel Ministers sanctioned by UK, AU, CA, NZ
#1
I thought this was an interesting development.

  • alongside partners Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Norway, the UK calls for immediate action against extremist settlers
  • measures announced today demonstrate UK commitment to challenging those inciting hatred and violence.

Quote:As of April 2025, extremist settlers have carried out over 1,900 attacks against Palestinian civilians (United Nations report) since January last year. The UK is committed to protecting the viability of a two-state solution and human rights, including by challenging those inciting violence.
In a joint statement with partners, the UK reiterated its commitment to continuing “a strong friendship with the people of Israel based on shared ties, values and commitment to [its] security and future.”

Secretary of State, Marco Rubio's response:
Quote:The United States condemns the sanctions imposed by the governments of United Kingdom, Canada, Norway, New Zealand, and Australia on two sitting members of the Israeli cabinet. These sanctions do not advance U.S.-led efforts to achieve a ceasefire, bring all hostages home, and end the war. We reject any notion of equivalence: Hamas is a terrorist organization that committed unspeakable atrocities, continues to hold innocent civilians hostage, and prevents the people of Gaza from living in peace. We remind our partners not to forget who the real enemy is. The United States urges the reversal of the sanctions and stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel.

I've done a bit of research lately regarding the issue's between the Jewish settler's in Israel/Palestine, Palestinians and other Arab neighbors.

Why does the U.S., in an OFFICIAL capacity ignore the genocide of non-combatants(women? children? elderly?) which make up roughly 70% of the population in Gaza that are continually being displaced, murdered, and starved then turn around and condemn humanitarian related sanctions against Israel government officials that promote the continuing of these actions/tactics?

It make's us look horrible through the lens of the rest of the free world.

Because Mossad has dirt which they blackmail all prominent people in power with. You don’t even get to a top position in government unless you can be controlled.
This move by the uk gov is just a feeble gesture to placate a population whose majority wants an end to the genocide in Gaza.

It’s a fine balance between screwing your population over just enough that they don’t hang you and pretending some bogey man is the one responsible for everything you did.
The real powers that be aren’t even known to the public, they’re not that daft. They are the king makers pulling strings from behind the scenes.

This is a half-decent watch if you have a spare hour.

I'm on the fence, by the way, where that place is concerned.

I just wish they would stop killing one another and doing the things that they do to one another.

The rest of the free world gives zero f's about Gaza, those people elected Hamas into power so they played a stupid game and won a stupid prize. It sucks when innocent people die it is however a fact of war. If they were concerned with their welfare they would have made better choices.

The problem being Gaza's population includes over 2 million people, nearly half of whom are children.

None of whom voted for anyone.

Hamas was elected in 2006 under highly limited conditions, and many Gazans did not support them then or now.

Collective punishment of civilians is a war crime under international law.

And blaming all Gazans for Hamas ignores the nuance involved, never mind denies them their human rights.

Time for the indiscriminate violence against innocent people on all sides to stop.

Or they can continue down the same path with no real change in sight and repeat the process until nobody is left alive.

I've been discussing in karl12's bilderberg meeting thread and he directed me to a certain report from the Policy Horizon Canada that was published in February 2020, called "The Biodigital Convergence".

While the subject of the report in question isn't really related to the thread, I went on PHC's website and found they published two reports following the first one that karl12 mentioned. In the last one, released 24th December, 2024, there is a paragraph that caught my attention in regards to current events.

Here's the part in question :
Quote:2.0 IntroductionBiological and digital systems are coming together in profound ways, creating a new domain called the biodigital convergence. Digital technology and living things are increasingly able to communicate and interact with each other. Digital technology can be embedded into living organisms, and biological components can be incorporated into new technologies.
The biodigital innovation space is changing quickly. Some countries—such as Israel and the United States—started investing substantial public funds into biodigital research and development as well as biomanufacturing sectors, after identifying them as strategically important for sustainable growth and future economic competitiveness. In March 2023, the United States White House Executive Order On Advancing Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing helped establish clear national objectives in areas such as human health, agriculture innovations, and climate change solutions. International organizations such as the International Electrotechnical Commission have been considering whether to standardize options for biodigital innovations. According to their research, the biodigital convergence could contribute to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals like zero hunger, innovation and infrastructure, and climate action.

Here's the link to the report : The Biodigital Convergence

I thought it might be an interesting angle to explore in regards to current events in Middle-East. Seems equally interesting the fact they specifically take USA and Israel as their example. Could it be one of the reasons USA sided with Israel?

Cheers!

The report is form 2024.
Since there is a different Administration in the USA now, I wonder how valid the info is about USA involvement.

^^ That.

Gaza made it's own situation.
They could have been a beautiful sea-side resort country.
With historical places of interest to bring tourists and big $$.
Instead, they are the worlds largest collection of welfare recipients,
and they spend their welfare checks on terrorism instead of on
education and health care and infrastructure.
They kill their own children by the stupid decisions they make.
The only civilians there are the ones under age 8.
The rest are fully indoctrinated into the Hamas mentality and assist/support Hamas.
They can't get along with anyone.
They tried to take over Egypt and failed.
They tried to take over Jordan and failed.
Now they try to take over Israel and fail.
Play stupid games ... win stupid prizes.

Well, since it was in December, it was indeed still the former administration. It was still fairly recent, and might have some weight in regards to Trump action, though that's all speculation on my part.
