Why, yes, it is collapsing, and with it the American-engineered post-war financial order.

Is it really a collapse though, and not just one of those things in the world where it seems to be getting bad twice as fast as it was 5 years ago, but that's just normal and it will continue merrily on doing that, because people don't intuitively understand multiplicative change, only additive? Same reason the compound interest and national debt scams worked, and are still working.

...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
It's not really normal, it's a direct effect of Trump's economic and foreign policy. I'm not qualified to say if it's going to keep collapsing, but my guess is yes, as long as America doesn't reverse course. That would mean getting rid of these ridiculous tariffs, for starters.

At some point - in the far future no doubt - we may all appreciate the quiet reality that underlies the entire economic theater ...
It's all the Banks' currency ... Not ours. Who "owns" the Bank?

Yeah the fed holds the currency levers. That's intended and a good thing, imo. Do you not think so?
(We may have discussed this before, it feels familiar).

Perhaps we have... the context of reserve currency being a blessing or a a curse is a common point I look to discuss. I have no doubt that the intent is expressed in the profit... But whose is it ... exactly. If you think, "None of your business," as they do... I suspect we have disagreed.
The fed is not really a for-profit institution like other companies. It's owned by its member banks, but the dividends are capped by law and they don't get to trade the stock. Net profits go directly to the US treasury if I recall correctly

It's part of the Great Reset. They will crash to dollar, bankrupt the country and the citizens, and then have everyone beg them for the new digital currency that will come to save the day which is the goal of it all anyway.

Not really. Check the 10 year graph at this site.

Next week will be fun. Lbma have run out of silver. They are flying it in , and the refineries are just working on the thousand-ounce bars to plug the gap. It is looking a lot like 1929 which is interesting as October seems to be the traditional time for this sort of thing. Anyone want Cryptos?
