Well now let us review the much quoted writing of Thomas Jefferson:
Quote:The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. So I opened my safe and pulled out my gun, but then I thought "What exactly is Jefferson writing about, and which side would he favor?" Having put my gun away, I searched for the letter to read it in context. (linked to above). He wrote of Shay's Rebellion, the example of the Dutch Stadtholder and a comparison to a proposed draft of the U.S. Constitution sent to him in France while he was ambassador there. Keep in mind that the U.S. was still under Articles of Confederation. The Constitution was still in draft form. There were no term limits set for President yet (see 22nd Amendment). So it is logical to assume that Jefferson did not like the idea of limitless chief executive: "What we have lately read in the history of Holland, in the chapter on the Stadtholder, would have sufficed to set me against a Chief magistrate eligible for a long duration, if I had ever been disposed towards one:" Quote:Shays's Rebellion was an armed uprising in Western Massachusetts and Worcester in response to a debt crisis among the citizenry and in opposition to the state government's increased efforts to collect taxes on both individuals and their trades. The fighting took place in the areas around Springfield during 1786 and 1787. Historically, scholars have argued that the four thousand rebels, called Shaysites, who protested against economic and civil rights injustices by the Massachusetts government were led by Revolutionary War veteran Daniel Shays. By the early 2020s, scholarship has suggested that Shays's role in the protests was significantly and strategically exaggerated by Massachusetts elites, who had a political interest in shifting blame for bad economic conditions away from themselves. It was a class rebellion, the farmers were not able to pay their debts to the merchant class and were losing their farms. The merchants refused to accept lesser valued currency to pay debts made with higher valued English Pounds. Jefferson was of the merchant elites, slave holder, trader with slave holding French colony of Haiti. He isn't exactly one of the common people. His idea seems to be that the rebels were duped rubes, misinformed about their own economic lives. "I say nothing of it’s motives. They were founded in ignorance, not wickedness.... The people can not be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ... And what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two?" Of course, the rulers with the armory under their control, and the funds to raise mercenary troops, will prevail in the end. The blood shed will mostly be that of the rebels. As so it was. Jefferson didn't seem to have a problem with that. He just seemed to think that long term Presidents could be a problem. In our current situation, one may ask "who are the misinformed?" During Shay's Rebellion Samuel Adams claimed that foreigners ("British emissaries") were instigating treason among citizens. That's sort of like Trump and his cabinet spreading the lie that there are no protesters, only paid agitators. I heard tell that seditious convict Enrique Tarrio is now an ICE agent. Of course he was pardoned by convict Donald Trump. If sedition is the attempted overthrow of government such as a coup, it seems to me that the coup has succeeded. For now, I will duck into this doorway as the thunder crashes. Chimes of Freedom, from Jefferson Starship - Jefferson's Tree of Liberty
There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people. - Commander William Adama

Tarrio wasn’t even at the capital or in the district when 1/6 happened. I believe he was charged with conspiracy in helping his cronies with buying supplies and such. He was deemed a flight risk and they left him to rot in prison. It was a BS sentence for something lots of people are guilty of, such as Soros funding his NGO puppets to spread violence and discourse. I’m glad he was pardoned although I think he’s kind of a smuck.

Right now, the left is protecting illegal aliens, illegal alien murderers, rapists, pedophiles.
That is a fact. That is not an opinion, a truth. It is an objective assessment of what is actually occurring. The left is in clear defiance of US law. QED

They’ve put their agenda first and foremost, American citizens last. They don’t really care about these people. Four years of human trafficking proved this to me. The fact they didn’t speak up to stop it exposed the fact. Letting in murderers, rapist, terrorist, cartel members, traffickers and allowing women and children to be trafficked into prostitution and forced labor kind of says it all. They’re evil people.
