Several years ago there was some talk on ATS about the disappearing insect populations around the world. As with most things there were the detractors calling B.S. on the whole premise of disappearing bugs while others had also noticed in their own particular area a decrease in the bug populations. We have all heard about disappearing honey Bees or some of the problems they have been having surviving.
