Video wouldn't show much there one side would show them fire missiles the other would show a pilot doing evasive manuvers but doubtful you'd even see the inbound missile because it would have burned through its propellant at those ranges. I would rather hear the comms traffic...but its doubtful they will make that public.

Your Mark 2 eyeballs might not see the missiles but your sensors, even as simple as the RAWS system, would be flashing and toning you that missiles have been launched and headed your way. The systems even tells you from what direction the missiles have been fired from and how far out they are when fired.

The point was that video of this battle wouldn't show much. The senors and radar and such sure would show all the things...but the post I was replying to was about video footage from the planes in the fight. To watch video you need to use your Mk.II eyeballs...even the camera sensors wouldn't really show much of any incoming missile...maybe a frame or 2.

To me the radio traffic would be the interesting bit as well as radar images...doubt that would ever be released as its sensitive info that vould give their enemy insight into their tactics and capabilities.

Pakistan’s use of J-10C jets and missiles exposes potency of Chinese weaponryShooting down of India’s planes by Beijing’s customer Pakistan would mark the first time the fighters and their PL-15 missiles have been used in combat.

"It has provided a wake-up call about China’s military capabilities as it threatens to annex Taiwan.
“We may need to reassess the PLA’s air combat capabilities, which may be approaching or even surpassing the level of US air power deployments in east Asia,” Shu Hsiao-Huang, an associate research fellow at the Taiwan defence ministry-linked Institute of National Defense and Security Research, told Bloomberg.
Under the rule of Xi Jinping, China’s military has been modernising and expanding, with a goal to be capable of an air and land invasion of Taiwan by 2027.
Hu Xijin, the former editor of the nationalistic Chinese state-linked tabloid Global Times, said the incident showed Taiwan should feel “even more scared”.
Part of China’s contingency planning is an expectation that the US military and potentially others would be involved in defending Taiwan.
Yun Sun, director of the China programme at the Stimson Center, said the two combat theatres were not directly comparable, as a Taiwan invasion would probably involve more input from the navy, marines and army than this month’s limited conflict between India and Pakistan.
“And technically, India did not use American weapon systems during this round,” Sun said. “But the surprising victory of Chinese J-10 and PL-15 [missiles] will force people to reconsider the military balance of power in the event of a Taiwan contingency.”
The apparent success of the J-10C against the Rafales also boosts China’s reputation as a manufacturer and seller of weapons. While China is the world’s fourth largest arms exporter, more than half goes to Pakistan and the rest is mostly to smaller developed nations. It must work around US sanctions.
The share price of Chengdu Aircraft Corporation, which makes the J-10Cs, soared on the news.
Small said Pakistan was often seen as a showcase for Chinese weapons." https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...inese-arms

Very interesting video on many levels to include Chinese weapons and how Pak over the years has been supporting USA efforts in the Mid-East thereby, Buddies with what are now considered terrorist. Where was Osama Ben Laden hiding?????; all this crap goes back to before when ISIS was driving brand new Toyota Pickups and beheading both friend and Foe..

This video does not have much praise for the Chinese weapons used as the Indian Military has actual photographs of the destruction they caused in Pakistan since the Chinese air defense was worthless. India got a dud air to air Chinese missile which "no doubt" is being inspected down to the last rivet IMO.

Chinas getting totally out of control. I have no idea if this is right but we just had IDS giving an interview on Talk TV in the UK. He reckons Chinese main shipyards, each have more capacity than the entire US output. Then said combined China output is 130 x that of USA yards. If this is anywhere near true then China's gonna take over the world. We are all doomed. Trump's right in taking on China before it too late

You can stop clutching your pearls. Just because China can turn out a ship twice as fast just means its going to be a POS. You either produce a product fast and its garbage or take your time and it lasts years, ya know, quality over quantity. You cannot make something at lightspeed and expect it to perform against tried and true US military platforms.

More chance of those two nations kicking off a nuclear exchange than most of the rest, if we are honest.

Hopefully, cooler heads prevail.

You sound like a westerner in 1935 casting off worries about the Japanese naval buildup, expecting the yellow man to be incapable of matching the wests technologies. The fact is the Chinese are catching up fast and have already made it to space. Their electric cars are on par with the wests and they out produce everything we do. The gap between us and them is narrowing and they are planning to completely demolish our democratic systems ASAP. They are single minded on destroying our way of life. Expect the worst in the years ahead.
