Not that I plan on using it.
Just curious.  I don't see it.

I guess you have to click on someone’s avatar and go to their page. Top right.

If you click on someone's name here and go to their page you get a buddy or ignore button.

Hey Shadow! I'm wondering if there is something wrong with my posting on here. I tried posting a thread and couldn't edit it. I'm commenting here to see if I can.

Meanwhile, if I highlight it, I can read it, and you have some HTML code that was copied in there. There's hex color values and font tags when it should just be plain text. I don't know what sorts of problems this could cause. I suppose you could quote it as text, but I don't think that was your intention. It just looks like a little too much was copied from a web page.
Mod interference. It's moving time again.

Thanks CC. I think I tried to use the format buttons and then I couldn't sort of return to normal. I then tried to edit it and a new thread popped up lol. Deary me...bear in mind I got my first ever Iphone today. I'm not using it right now but it might show how useless I am at this.

Yeah you just did something that inadvertently copied some of the HTML; maybe it was something to do with the format buttons. I sometimes see similar when I copy something from a web page into a text editor, but of course I always get rid of any HTML code since all I want is just the text.

I'll tell you something weird though. When I clicked on the formats a window popped up with some of my old ATS poems. Hey ho, maybe a mod can help me. Thanks again CC.

Please don't.  I think as adults we appreciate the ability to control (to an extent) the content we see.

I never understood why people would like to miss part of a conversation.

As for the global ignore, if I'm not mistaken, it made things slow.

I've always considered the ignore feature as logical. No one knows which of any one persons posts is going to  send you crazy-making just their even breathing, much less posting "spaghetti salad" opinions.

The ignore feature gives you a way to self-regulate yourself.

Was on one forum an eventually had 60 members on ignore before it was all done & dusted. It was a subject specific forum but quite a few of them would collect over on James Randy's skeptical forum. It was a godsend to be able to just not know anything they said & focus just on the forum's topic.
JMO Cheers!!
