As we know, the wealthy are getting out of New York and taking their businesses with them. Even Wall Street has been talking about relocating to Dallas.
Shocker, right ? People want to keep their money and not have it taken from them just because they are successful. So what do they do ? They take their money someplace else.
Now, along comes Mamdani telling people he's going to raise taxes on the rich and corporations so they can have free daycare, free bus rides, city owned grocery stores...just basically all the feel good stick it to the man propaganda he could shovel.
And they believed it.
Now, however, he says if a tax hike on the rich is not approved, well, he'll just have to start taxing the Average Joe. Holchul has already said she's not going to do it, so where does this lead ? Yep. The people he promised all the free shit are now going to be paying for all the free shit.
