How much do you sleep?
#41
I can get by on 5 or 6 but I'd much rather have a full 8 if I can get it. Every coup!e of months or so I'll do a marathon sleep.session and sleep for 14 hours straight. That's usually after a  big job though where I've put in a lot of hours.and I'm just exhausted.

If I am lucky, I get 6 hours.  Every few days I sleep 7-7.5 and that is usually during the shorter months.
Even with a mask, the daylight gets me up.

I use a weighted mask to fall asleep faster.  No caffeine after 11am.
I sometime use a Wyld gummy designed for sleep.  Praying helps too.
Also, daily chamomile before bed, laced with a bit of California poppy.

Chamomile, ginger, mint and lemon or all good things, I try and switch coffee out with it now and then

One surprising result from abusing bi-neural beats was insomnia and it appeared to be a common side effect. It makes me think interesting things about our brain states during the day and how it influences sleep and maybe a clue in the mysteries of it. Mucking about with autonomous functions brings many side effects such as practiced changes manifesting randomly afterwards. Maybe people getting by with less sleep has their brains cycle through frequency more often in waking states, schumann resonances is an interesting topic. Our brains just drops naturally in frequency anyway.  Lack of sleep causing depression is well known, emotion acts as a current for a reinforcement cycle.

Another interesting side effect is learning about said reinforcement cycles. Drinking chamomile, lighting incense and praying are all good things to do before sleep. Using your phone with random feeds is probably the worst thing you can do to yourself

We also listen to nature sounds and have found that rain and thunder are the best options for us.
We use two small noise machines to get a fuller effect, one on each side of the room.

I usually wake at after about 5 or 6 hours.  Sometimes I fall back asleep for a couple of hours but sometimes I don’t.

About 7 hours… unless it’s an abduction night.
