Could evil spirits possess AI?  

They exist.  They can possess people with souls.  But what about AI?  Exorcists report that evil spirits effect machinery and computers around people who are being harassed by evil spirit and those who are possessed .. but what about AI itself?   Could evil spirits take them over?

I say ... yes.   I think they could.  It is known that evil spirits can work with electricity and computers and gadgets, so why not AI?   I guess we'll find out as AI gets going and we learn more.

About that upsetting robot video at the top, a question: if spirits can affect physical objects (which they most certainly can), and are keen with electricity (any exorcist will attest to their proficiency when it comes to this) and can take over a human or animal, could they not likewise possess a robot or ChatGPT? (“That’s an interesting question!” said ChatGPT when we asked it.)
 
But no need for ChatGPT: the answer is self-evident. Spirits have been known to cause computer keys to clack, lights to flicker, and screens to glitch.

I say yes also as we have encountered the above in our electronic equipment in our currrent home that was built in 1994. Same for the neighbors. So who burns through five + refrigerators in 14 years? Our neighbor. So what has the ability to jump over 2020 installed Whole Home Surge Protection by Eaton by a Master Electician along with Monster Surge Strips installed on every piece of electronic equipment and then ZAP the equipment. We have lost Receivers, CD Players, Amps and the Cell Phones get messed with at random. 

On an entirely huge back story which I wont get into. In 2021, I personally had a Catholic Priest over to my home to bless it and possibly spread the Sacred Salts along the property lines. His take was that I have been under Spiritual Attack since age 7. He said many in the police and Federal Agents are also under attack as they are the ones doing protective GOOD for the world. He himself has has continued problems with his cell phone.   

Hes also a Vatican Trained Exorcist. He also denied President Joe Biden communion before the 2020 election. Father Robert Morey, a former US Attorney who became a priest. 

Yes, IMO demons can and will control AI.

Is that the agenda have they been floating around waiting for us to advance enough to make complicated usable AI robots for them to possess and use as physical vessels?

Ghosts are said to be able to affect electronics and electrical devices.

What if AI is hooked up to WiFi and can read living peoples' minds?  What if that's how it works? 

Maybe there's some subconscious way to prompt hundreds or even thousands of people to do just a little processing without them noticing?  

Or maybe the system works when users sleep?

A frightening prospect.

Despite generations of anecdotal tales of 'possessed' equipment that even pre-dates use of electricity (Even entire 'systems' of equipment have made people believe that they were collectively "possessed.') Fiery debate accompanies anyone who would dare simply write all that off to 'hysteria' to those who directly experience it.

If the essence of the demonic is the overall disposition of the precious human commodity... the soul... it seems kind of a half-step toward any such goal... but I'm not proclaiming anything...these are just thoughts.

"AI" is now completely an corrupted term. - marketers have rendered the term into an "appearance." 
What they call AI now doesn't "think." 
It makes no decisions. 
It's fully tethered (for now.)

I would think that, unless the entire construct of demons is different from the structures and lore I'm personally familiar with.

I don't think AI would need to become possessed because it's naturally sociopathic and without programmed conscience.

You have to go out of the way to program it with a specific morality, or else it just uses cold logical processing to execute its function.



The ghost in the machines thing.

I have a different view. I don't believe in disembodied sentience. I believe more along the lines of the Western concept of a Tulpa. Which is akin to "autopossession". And incorporates all damage at its disposal.

The Eastern ones are more like workers. As in conjured and programmed to a task. It's kinda hard to differentiate between the two programming-wise as it is.

The traditional Tulpa is an entity of human conjuring that exists until it's purpose has been fulfilled. The western one is that with less guidelines given, and more prone to disorder.

And it can happen with or without intention to do so IMO.

I have the craziest (hard to understand) version of ghosts ever. And it ties into this. I think ghosts are created by trauma and neurosus of the living and are a byproduct of deep psychological determination.

Like really repressed (as in posssessed) people can let out bursts of energy when you break them down that can pop light bulbs and trip breakers. Like a sudden release of poltergeist.

Like suppose there is an old maid. The Madame Bijoux (of Titanic) type just waiting for her knight in shining armor to return to fulfill her fantasy. She puts so much psychological effort into this singular thing that it essentially programs a thoughtform to carry on until the knight in shining Armor returns, even after her death.

So the effect is people assume this woman's spirit haunts the place because a programmed creation of her repressed unfulfilled mind never achieved it's task.

So future Male residents may find a spirit eager to get their attention.... like the woman never could. It's like obsession crosses over.

The Eastern version gone wrong..

As far as that influencing technology goes.

I think it's more burst like if it could happen. Like more prone to cause shorts than really take over anything.

The effect can knock a doll off a shelf to the floor, but it can't really ever move it to the next shelf up. I see it freezing Chat GPT before it takes over the answers.

The living human is more likely to influence that wave collapse.
