Missing 411 Jerusalem
A Roman guard assigned to the entrance of Jesus Christ’s tomb is being questioned this morning, regarding the now missing body of Jesus Christ. Christ 33 known for his charity work and carpenter skills, was tortured and crucified just days ago on the orders of Pontius Pilate, and left in the tomb with a large boulder blocking the only exit

Missing Persons Report
Name: Jesus of Nazareth
Alias: Jesus Christ, The Messiah
Age: Approximately 33 years old
Date of Birth: Unknown, estimated circa 4-6 BCE
Last Seen: Jerusalem, Judea, circa 30-33 CE

Physical Description:
  • Height: Estimated 5’5” to 6’0”
  • Build: Average, lean
  • Hair: Long, dark brown, possibly bearded
  • Eyes: Unknown
  • Distinguishing Marks: Possible scars or wounds on hands, feet, and side Clothing Last Worn: Likely simple robes, possibly a linen garment; may have been wrapped in a burial shroud
Circumstances of Disappearance:
Jesus of Nazareth was last seen in Jerusalem following a reported crucifixion. His body was placed in a tomb, wrapped in a linen shroud. The shroud bears an imprint consistent with a crucified male matching Jesus’ description, but no body was found within or near the shroud. Witnesses from the era reported sightings of Jesus post-crucifixion, claiming he appeared alive, though these accounts remain unverified. The absence of remains raises questions about his whereabouts.
Last Known Location:
Tomb near Golgotha, Jerusalem.
Possible Associations:
  • Known associates include twelve disciples (e.g., Peter, John, Judas Iscariot [deceased]), Mary Magdalene, and Mary, his mother.
  • May have been followed by a group of supporters and religious figures in Judea.
Additional Information:
  • Jesus was a prominent religious leader, known for preaching, performing alleged miracles, and attracting a significant following.
  • The shroud discovery has prompted speculation about his fate, with some claiming a resurrection, while others suggest the body was removed or stolen.
  • No signs of foul play have been confirmed, but the tomb was reportedly sealed before the body’s disappearance.
  • Historical texts, including the Gospels, may provide further context but are subject to interpretation.
Action Requested:
Authorities are urged to investigate the tomb site and the surrounding areas for any evidence of Jesus’ whereabouts. Public assistance is requested in reporting any information, relics, or sightings, though caution is advised due to the historical and religious sensitivity of the case. Contact the [Jerusalem Police Department] with tips.
Case Number: JER-033-2025]
Contact Information:  e.g., JHB at +1-555-0123
Note: This case is of significant cultural and religious importance. All inquiries and investigations should proceed with respect for diverse beliefs and historical context.

Happy Easter to you too.

Many years ago I remember being given £5 to go and buy an Easter Egg because my parents were too lazy to go themselves. I came home with a copy of "A Day At The Races" by Queen instead, and that was the start of a wonderful record collection I still have. Spin

Happy Easter...

Have a Happy, Blessed Easter, DIers!!

I remember with fondness all the Easters growing up, actually all of Holy Week.
IMHO, those traditions kept us grounded.

Blessings of love on this Easter when Eastern and Western calendars coincide.

An intellectual is all the time showing off.
Lovers dissolve and become bewildered.
Intellectuals try not to drown,
while the whole purpose of love
is drowning.
Intellectuals invent
ways to rest, and then lie down
in those beds.
Lovers feel ashamed
of comforting ideas.
You've seen a glob
of oil on water? That's how a lover
sits with intellectuals, there, but alone
in a circle of himself
Some intellectual tries to give sound advice to a lover.
All he hears back is, I love you.
I love you
.

While we didn't attend church much as a family, we would all dress up for Easter and usually go to our grandmother's church and or visit with all of our relatives.

Grandmother had a huge yard where the adults would hide easter eggs, loads of them, especially as our families grew. My daughters hunted Easter eggs in the same yard in the 90s as thier Dad, Aunts, and Uncles did before them in the 60s, 70s, and 80s

LOL, more than once, a 90s to 00s kid would bring back a plastic money or candy-filled egg, the 60s-80s kids missed. One or twice, they found old faded dyed eggs that we missed, too.

Of course

But you must point out the origin of Easter as the pagan Ostera, a celebration of the equinox and spring.

You must be aware that egg decoration is symbolic of new life and fertility, with the feast and imagery dating back centuries. Usually fruits and lamb. Like Christmas, today's Easter is mostly a Germanic pagan-Christian hybrid of the two competing spring holidays.

The Missing 411 is funny though. Please let me know when people find Jesus, because i don't think anyone knows where he is anymore. Check Valhalla and Zoroaster's Paradise too.

I GET it, Anton or Marina Abramović, being cynical about organized religion, especially churches over a certain size, but there are still loads of positives in those small churches in our neighborhoods and towns across the country. It gives so many people purpose in life, and helps keep some of us grounded, as has been mentioned. Churches are the last refuge for a lot of people down on thier luck. Ive had my moments

Both my grandmothers lost their husbands in the 1970s, thier respective churches offered them essential solace, faith, hope, camaraderie, and companionship from day one through the 2010s.

Ain't it funny how you rarely hear a death row inmate say they discovered Satanism

Christians have thier "spaghetti" monster belief and faith, progressives have thier belief and faith in 92 genders, and tampons in middle school boys' restrooms. So glad the Amish prefer spaghetti....

The missing 411 was nothing but an AI prompt...
