I have a feeling that Comey's book is going to provide some serious ammunition against Hillary.
"A Higher Loyalty" gives Comey's view of her mishandling of classified information. Starting on page 161.
On July 6, 2015 The FBI received a referral from the inspector general of the intelligence community that she may have done something seriously not cool.
"Our investigation required us to answer two questions. The first questions was whether classified documents were moved outside the classified system or whether classified topics were discussed outside of a classified system.
If so the second question was what was the subject of the investigation was t.h.i.n.k.i.n.g when she mishandled that classified information."
They found 36 email chains about topics that could cause "serious" damage to national security and 8 that could cause "exceptionally" grave damage.
Of course Comey clung to the impossible to prove what she could possibly be thinking.
The FBI Midyear team then were faced with the daunting 100's and thousands of emails found on Weiner's laptop and that was just 11 days before the presidential election.
From this book I am left with the impression that he will not be prepared to be the fall guy again.
Loretta Lynch, Obama and even his own boss left him out there. Of course his ego didn't help.
I have no idea how he will explain away the fact that they found even more classified information in the second set of emails.
During this time it was leaked that many lower level FBI agents were in revolt because they knew how serious the situation was.
