Golden Earring's Twilight Zone & Jason Bourne
#1
I'm not the biggest fan of 80s music, except for Prince and a few others, but this to me is one of the greatest songs of all time. The song was actually inspired by The Bourne Identity novel. How perfect this song, or an updated rendition would have been for one of my favorite movie franchises. But no. They chose Moby instead. Although Extreme Ways remains the only Moby song I actually enjoy.

Wow. Haven't heard that in awhile. Thanks for sharing. I don't remember the intro being so long or so edgy. Good stuff.

Also, Prince hell yeah! One of the all time greats.

Golden Earring! Awesome Dutch band!
Actually founded in 1961 under a different name, but we’re going strong for a long time.

Golden Earring's Radar Love is a driving tune classic, especially if you travel for a living. Haven't heard the extended version of Twilight Zone in years.

saw a vid from about 10 years ago and they still rocked it...

%Last car to pass, here I go!%
%And the line of cars drove down real slow%

On a funny note...I always thought the lyrics said...

The radio's playing some forgotten song
Brenda Lee's "Comin on Strong"
The road has got me hypnotized
I'm speedin' into a NUDE sunrise

LOL!! Lol

Always loved that song!

The intro is longer on the extended version, although the non-extended version is almost 8 minutes long!

PS: the last time I heard to this song (not this version) was... Tuesday, it's on my playlist. Biggrin
