Ghost Wolf
#1
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article...woods.html

Go to the article and click on the video.   It's film from a hunters trail camera at night.
You see a couple of deer at first.
After about two seconds, you see a GHOST WOLF go by on the left side.
You see the snout and the tail .. and the stride of a wolf.
The deer see it too ... they watch it but don't get spooked thinking it was a predator.

The ghost of an animal.
Makes me wonder how many ghost chickens are around.
I've eaten a lot of chickens in my lifetime.

My neighbor saw the ghost of her dog that had died.
She saw his ghost before she knew he was dead.
She was in the kitchen cleaning up when the dog came up to her.
She told him 'you look tired, go lay down', and he walked off to go lay down.
She then went out to the car to get something and found him dead in the car.
The kids had been playing and had locked the dog in the car by accident.
The hot summer day killed the dog in the car.
So she saw his ghost after she died ... He was probably coming to tell her something was wrong ...

Better video

I can never go strait to a ghost. So, as always, I immediately try to rule out all other possibility. That led to jump scare trail cam clickbait and regular trail cam footage.

I tried to figure out if "bleedthrough" effects happen on trailcams, and if they are digital memory cards or tape.  It looks like all bleedthrough examples I've seen though. Don't know if it's that happens with digital or not..

No conclusive answer though.

I found other effects, like ghost raccoon eyes in a video that didn't even note the ghost effect.

Anyway, start at 1:10 for the best view of the ghost eyes (between the trees), which is a reflection moving with the eyes of animal in frame.

To still try to be the autistic buzzkill again, it may be still be a ghost image that captures an actual wolf, just from a previous video. Artifact of digital recording? Like data not getting fully overwritten. Leading to a similar effect as tape.

ETA:

I asked Chat GPT: "Why does my digital trailcam footage show a transparent ghost wolf run through frame?"

Answer:
Quote:The appearance of a transparent ghost wolf in your trail camera footage can be attributed to several factors:

1. **Motion Blur**: If the wolf was moving quickly, the camera might have captured motion blur, creating a ghostly effect on the video.

2. **Low Light Conditions**: In low-light environments, cameras often struggle to capture clear images. This can result in artifacts or digital noise, giving the impression of a ghostly figure.

3. **Glitches or Malfunctions**: Digital cameras can sometimes malfunction, leading to artifacts in the footage. This can happen due to firmware issues, low battery power, or storage card problems.

4. **Reflection or Light Effects**: Reflections from nearby surfaces or sudden changes in lighting (like a flash or a vehicle's headlights) could create an illusion of a ghostly figure.

5. **Wildlife Behavior**: Some animals, particularly at night, may appear more ethereal due to their speed, coloration, or how they interact with light.

So It could just be an actual wolf, low light conditions, and motion blur. Number 3 seems most possible. And that's the best non-paranormal answer.

There is only one frame that looks like a wolf and if you watch it a couple of times it's just a smudge the artificing on that whole area is a bit whacked.  Something darts in and hits the tree also at the end with lots of motion blur, the deer doesn't notice it.

Something is moving fast that is either darting back and forth or spinning and the rest is motion blur and artificing.

I think it's some sort of artifact involving the smaller deer.  If you look, I think it moves with that smaller deer.
