Anyone know how to get a book published in 2025?

Plus isekai, timeloops, and dragons are awesome.

Be sure to make it cozy!

And of course slice-of-life if possible. Lol

absolutely!

It’s by far my best work, and getting 5 star reviews, so must be doing something right!

86k / 100k into writing book 2.

Ever wonder what happens when a fed-up soldier steals a superbike, flips off the world, and meets a deer at 150 mph? Spoiler: He dies. But death’s just a pit stop, where our hero crash-lands (literally) into a fantasy realm thanks to a bombshell goddess who mangles his reincarnation wishlist into pure chaos.

Waking up buck-naked in a haystack with a game-like system that’s equal parts helpful and hilariously hostile, Damniht starts at level zero—scrawny, stat-less, and staring down dragons, four-eyed wolves, and a prophecy that screams “world-changer or world-ender.” Naturally, the local government and clergy aren’t thrilled.

Armed with chaotic spells, an oversized luck stat, and a displacer kitten familiar who’s equal parts adorable and apocalyptic, Damniht fumbles through quests in a body built for library duty, not heroics.

Will he master his glass-cannon powers, charm the locals, or accidentally unleash armageddon? Buckle up for a snark-filled isekai LitRPG romp packed with betrayals, stat-based magic, and one man’s quest to thrive in a world where “chaos” isn’t just a word—it’s his class.

Perfect for fans of LitRPG, gamelit, reluctant heroes, and fantasy with humor.

I just self-published through Amazon. If I sell them on line for $40 through them, I earn about $2.65 cdn. If I order author's copies and flog them myself, I earn $14 per. This is with me having paid an outside designer to do layout for this image-heavy softcover book. It's worked out fine for me.
PM me and I can provide the name and you can get a sample look if interested.

Quick edit to add that this is a local history sort of thing, and as such we've sold about 550 copies and been well reviewed.

I'm self published on Amazon/Kindle.

1. Almost cost me nothing.
2. Good quality prints. Hard backs are fantastic!
3. Can send a direct link to your book to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
4. Amazon/Kindle offers instant download of book.
5. Book is always "live". ie, if it's in a book shop, you gotta rely on footfall.
6. Order as many copies as you like at a reduced cost. Could then sell physicals at shows, events.

My worst experiences with this was getting the page layouts correct, borders, front/rear covers etc of the book in order for it to upload to Kindle as required. Was a learning curve and a bit time consuming, but I got there..
I do like the idea of an AI YT video though.. Mine will have to include images due to the content.
That's a task in itself..  :)
Holding a copy of your own book is.. awesome!!!
