He had to determine that it wasn't actually human spirits.
There are prayers and signs that do that.
Certain exorcism prayers are used for human spirits and
certain other ones for demons.
That's all I"ll say. I'm not going to go into detail.
I was warned not to focus on it because it isn't healthy
and invites things in.
Cheer for the info, Flyers. Thought that might be the case.
When my mother moved into her new home many moons ago, decades back now, we thought she had a poltergeist.
You'd leave a room and come back in, and things had been moved.
Just small items like pictures, ashtrays, and cushions were shifted around, swapped, or sometimes placed in a corner.
We never saw anything actually move, it would just miraculously happen when no one was present.
It stopped after a few months on its own, gradually happening less and mostly in the kitchen or bedrooms.
Like I said, it ended by itself.
The weird part was that there was no fear or malevolence.
Some of it felt more like instruction than intrusion.
Guess the house just got used to her.
She moved out a couple of weeks back.
I wonder if the new occupants will experience anything similar?
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."
