Florida Man Told Cops He ‘Teleported’ Into Stolen BMW Before High-Speed Crash

The pic of the guy looked like he was 20 years older than the article claimed...

Quote:Volusia County deputies have seen some s—t, man. It’s the county home to the drunken redneck mecca that is Daytona Beach. But even they didn’t seem prepared for a dazed and bloodied man insisting that he had “teleported” into a flaming BMW convertible.

A witness told investigators he saw a confused-looking man asking strangers for a lighter before slipping into the Beemer. That man, deputies say, was 36-year-old Calvin Curtis Johnson, who allegedly believed the universe had opened a portal exclusively for him in the form of an unoccupied BMW with the keys still inside.

Well, unless he can teleport into judges robes, I would guess that he is going to shortly experience being in involuntary psychiatric hold.   Unless, of course, he pleads guilty to auto theft and driving intoxicated and reckless and a whole other list of infractions.

Not making a judgement, however there have always been troubled people -- caused by a variety of reasons.   I don't know if higher concentrations of humans reflect per capita troubled folk.   I personally believe that cities are unnatural and perhaps cause a higher density of troubled folk.   Or....... Or!   Perhaps cities attract troubled folk.   hmmm.

I cant remember where I read it, but older cities (Rome, Jeuresalem, etc) all have demon as a patron and a sacrafice must be performed annually to mmaintain the city.

I never took it seriously but given the whole rape cult revelations re Epstinne, maybe it is true.

But even without that cities keep people restricted, I cant grow my own food here  (community grders are common here), I can only have two cars and my neighbours listen to everything.

Once my father passes away Im moving to the country.

When a news story begins with Florida Man, you know you’re at the least going to be entertained.

Crystal meth is a hell of a drug. LoL

the guy was delusional.  Nowadays, it seems like there are way more delusional people and not much is being done to find out what chemistries we use on food is causing this.  Yes, medicines can cause delusion which is well noted in side effects.  But combinations of chemicals in foods we eat can also cross react and cause problems and chemicals used on foods are only tested independently the vast majority of the time for safety.
