Facebook and the NSA
#11
So what happened? They lost their spy tools and then bought the media?

Since everyone is using AI now for everything they can just ask it what we are up too.  All forms of searching is moving to AI and content gets promoted with it. Control has never been easier and nothing is private.
I call not love in human frame,
But chrome, and fire, and roaring flame.
She came in smoke and metal breath,
A streak of lust, a dance with death.

well the building it was in fell down

I am glad you brought this up.
With FB being somewhat démodé these days, I think Google is the more insidious and disgusting worm that we are forced to live with these days.

I can't enter a concert without my tracking device, and making sure the Alphabet Agency Inc. software is running the 'ticket' properly.
I can't park in the liberal progressive hell hole without scanning a QR code, no cash or cards!

I want to divest myself from Alphabet Agency Inc , that is to say, Google and all of it's MIC bull shit.

Well, this definitely explains my prodigious use of the Middle Finger lately.
Fact? Fiction? Pure conjecture or absolute hogwash?  The Decision Rests With You. :)

And then we get this masterpiece of magic exposure . . .  Lol

Former Facebook executive tells Senate committee company undermined US national security with China
Quote:Former Facebook executive Sarah Wynn-Williams testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday, accusing the social media company of undermining national security and briefing China on U.S. artificial intelligence efforts in order to grow its business there.

“We are engaged in a high-stakes AI arms race against China. And during my time at Meta, company executives lied about what they were doing with the Chinese Communist Party to employees, shareholders, Congress, and the American public,” Wynn-Williams said in her prepared testimony.

Her book “Careless People,” an explosive insider account of her time at the social media giant, sold 60,000 copies in its first week and reached the top 10 on Amazon’s best-seller list amid efforts by Meta to discredit the work and stop her from talking about her experiences at the company. Meta used a “campaign of threats and intimidation” to silence the former executive, said Sen. Richard Blumenthal, a Democrat from Connecticut, during the hearing.
