FBI Bust Oct 7 Terrorist in Louisiana
#1
Illegal alien.  (Allegedly) Participated in Oct 7 attack in Israel.
Probably came in under the Biden open borders.
These are the kind of people that the anti-ICE protestors are wanting to keep in America.

Quote:The FBI has arrested a suspect in Louisiana who allegedly participated in Hamas' Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel.
An affidavit accuses Mahmoud Amin Ya-qub Al-Muhtadi, a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, violated federal law by providing, attempting to provide, or conspiring to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization through his alleged involvement in the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas-led attack on Israel. He is also accused of fraud and misuse of visa, permits and other documents.

"Al-Muhtadi is an operative for the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine's ('DLFP') military wing, the National Resistance Brigades ('NRB', also known as the ‘Martyr Umar al-Qasim Forces’), a Gaza-based paramilitary group that participated in the Hamas-led terrorist attack against Israel on October 7, 2023," the affidavit said. "Evidence shows that on the morning of October 7, 2023, Al-Muhtadi learned about the Hamas invasion, armed himself, gathered others, and crossed into Israel with the intention of assisting in Hamas's terrorist attack."

"Evidence shows that Al-Muhtadi's phone utilized a cell tower located near Kibbutz Kfar Aza in Israel, the location of a horrifying massacre by Hamas and its supporters," the affidavit continued. "Evidence further shows that Al-Muhtadi provided false information in his U.S. Visa application relating to his involvement with a paramilitary organization, connection to Hamas, participation in a terrorist attack, and military training."

"As a result of that false application, Al-Muhtadi was able to obtain permission to travel to the United States and obtain Legal Permanent Resident status. Al-Muhtadi is currently residing and working in Lafeyette (sic), Louisiana," it added.

No, he entered the country on Sept 12 2024 on a visa. However, he did lie in his visa application.

There are also some reports that he was granted permanent residency.

So, not an illegal alien.

There don't appear to be any official searchable legal documents in the USA for anyone of that specific name at this time. Perhaps it is too soon and the documents will be available once they have been processed?

DOJ Office of Public Affairs statement: Gaza Man Arrested for Alleged Involvement in October 7, 2023 Terrorist Attacks

Looks like U.S. prosecutors will bring a case against this guy based mostly on evidence provided by the foreign government of Israel.
Quote:Joint Task Force October 7 (JTF 10-7) and the FBI New Orleans Field Office are investigating the case, with valuable assistance from Israeli authorities, including the State Attorney’s Office of Israel, the Israeli Security Agency, Lahav 433 and the Intelligence and Investigation Department of the Israel National Police, the Israel Defense Forces, and the Israeli National Bureau for Counter Terror Financing, as well as the FBI Law Enforcement Attache Office in Israel.
...
Assistant U.S. Attorney John Nickel for the Western District of Louisiana; Trial Attorneys A.J. Dixon, Andrew Sigler and JTF 10-7 Lead Attorney Alicia Cook of the National Security Division’s Counterterrorism Section; and Assistant U.S. Attorney Zoe Bedell for the Eastern District of Virginia are prosecuting the case. Valuable assistance was also provided by Trial Attorney Mark Aziz with the Justice Department’s Office of International Affairs.

The No Kings Protest should be quite something. GOP leadership calls it "Anti-America, pro Hamas, pro terrorist."
There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people. - Commander William Adama

It just shows that the lefts policy to allow anti-American terrorists into our country.

I'm sure the left will defend this person who participated in the terror attack on Oct 7th.
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

Presumption of Innocence used to be a common value in America.
Maybe I've been misinformed.

If not, I want them back.

Quote:[Verse 3]
Broke into the old apartment
Tore the phone out of the wall
Only memories, fading memories
Blending into dull tableaux
I want them back
According to Ed Robertson,
Quote:People think that it’s a disgruntled ex-partner breaking into the apartment to mess with the current relationship of his ex. But it’s actually about the building. The couple has moved on together and the guy is going back and he’s pissed off that the people have changed this place that is special to him. So, the anger comes from, “Hey, this was my home, why did you mess it up by changing all these things?” So, that’s what that one’s about. A lot of people think that that’s about an ex-relationship but it’s actually about an ex-abode.

He lied.   Therefore his VISA is invalid.  Therefore he's illegal.

Being a communist is not disqualifying.
Nor is belonging to the Communist Party.
But lying on your VISA about terrorist connections is.

Yes it is. 8 U.S. Code § 1182: "Any immigrant who is or has been a member of or affiliated with the Communist or any other totalitarian party (or subdivision or affiliate thereof), domestic or foreign, is inadmissible."

Note, affiliated with. And it is a crime to lie on a visa or citizenship application, making it invalid.
