Same thing I’ve been saying. They’re at least 12-15 miles laterally, and at least 7-8 vertically from the aircraft. No commercially available system is going to pick out fine detail at those kinds of ranges. This could simply be a B-21 or B-2 and you can’t see the fine details. Or a UAV. Or just about anything.

Just to follow on to this discussion, there’s been some additional info released about this spotting by both the Uncanny Expeditions YouTube channel, as well as the Dreamland Resort Channel.  Anders Otterson (Uncanny Expeditions), the guy who got the pics and video, photographed the mystery triangle, and a B-2 during this same night.  And while he didn’t get both jets in frame simultaneously, they were in the airspace at the same time.

I agree that at this distance and being that this is thermal imaging; there isn’t much detail.   But, the B-2 definitely stands out in these pics and the comparison between the two is very interesting.  The radio chatter intercepted by Dreamland Resort that same night is also pretty interesting and, if nothing else, hilarious…

"Corona pretzel snacks zero with cheese." and "71 pretzel stick in the green." 

As far as the Kansas and Texas sightings are concerned, this one looks much more like Kansas and nothing like Texas.  But, it isn’t really a match for either, in my opinion.
