China Makes Breakthrough With Thorium Nuclear Reactor

Or you just trying to change the subject using false assurances where all of China is ran in the manner of your allegations against one company.  Where you ignore numerous county, state, and federal agencies would have to be bypassed.

This is how crapy China is concerning the environment.

And that’s just one arm of Chinese industry, how it treats the world and locals.  Not one company.

Proof:

"But experts don’t see it that way. Bruce Buckheit, a former director of the EPA’s air enforcement division, said that xAI is violating the Clean Air Act with its actions."

I don’t know what to tell you.  But environmental organisations file lawsuits all the time.  It’s an industry that puts money in lawyers pockets.

Any proof of the plant violating established stack emissions set by the state and federal agencies.  I go to air shows.  Nobody seems to complain as a whole when five or six Blue Angel jets test their engines on the runway or fly around.  Or the heavy aircraft traffic from airports.

Ground based turbines are basically ground based jet engines with controls and regulations against things like NOx.

Where you ignore China is literally fishing at rates that are unsustainable.  Where china as a whole is a business model based on unfair trade practices, forced labor, and steeling intellectual property.

So, I’m confused, WF. Are you saying that there’s no breakthrough in China on the Thorium reactor, or are you just raging against China?

China builds Coal fired power plants because they can. Yes, them Russia and India are by far the biggest polluters on the planet.

It still doesn’t detract from the fact that they may have made a breakthrough.

Meh, I can hug as many trees as I want, I can join greenpeace and climb the Eiffle Tower to bring attention to their uncaring history for their people and the planet, but they still do have breakthroughs, and Dim Sum…

Oh there is not only a breakthrough but a promising future, apparently.

With China having a population about ten times greater than Russia.  Added, that alone doesn’t pass the smell test.

Care to clarify.

And again.  China is still doubling down on dirty coal technology.  While depleting the oceans fishing industry by fishing at an unsustainable rate that is greatly impacting pacific island life where those cultures traditionally rely on the sea for a major source of food that China is now plundering.  And I would say with a fleet of distant fishing vessels around 17,000 and a fleet of about 500,000 costal vessels all probably dirty diesel burning vessels.

We could go tit for tat on which and how much each country is doing the dirty but every country is a contributor, but if China is forging a way out of using coal and/or fossil fuels then you should be commending them.

"Japan, China, the U.S., Indonesia, Chinese Taipei and South Korea have been named by Pew Charitable Trusts on a “shame list” of countries responsible for overfishing tuna in the Pacific." (AI)

Again, not just China, many countries are guilty depending on which ocean and with fish species we look at.
