There's no place like home
#1
Well, I finally made it home late yesterday afternoon after being locked up for 5 days and I'll tell ya, it makes you appreciate the little things.

It all started when I went to see this guy in Evansville Indiana. I sat and talked with him for a bit and then some people came in the room and said "Sir, you need to come with us" and I thought to myself "Oh hell, here we go"
They took me to this little room and told me to take off all my clothes and put them in a bag and then gave me some other clothes to put on that everybody else has to wear. Ring, watch, any other jewelry or piercings all need to be removed. They'll be returned when you leave...IF you leave.

I stayed in that room for a while and then some other people came in and took me to a room with REALLY bright lights and it must have been pretty boring 'cause I took about a 4 hour nap and then they moved me to where I'd be doing the rest of my time.

All in all, I guess it's not too bad. I mean, the food isn't all that good, but they feed ya 3 times a day and there's a TV.
It's still pretty boring and they get VERY upset if you try to leave. The beds are not very good, the pillows just suck and with all the noise and people coming and going all hours of the day and night, it's hard to get any sleep.

They finally got it all straightened out and let my Wife come get me and when I walked out those doors a free man, I swore I'd never go back.
I threw back back my head, took a deep breath and told her "I'm sorry I was gone for so long. Are you doing ok ? How are the kids ? I thought I'd never see daylight again"

In her loving supportive way she said "You had surgery, you weren't in prison. Shut up and get in the damn car".

I was, at first, expecting a MIB story.  Lol

I was picturing a mob thing in Vegas ... like you got caught counting cards or something.   Lol

Hope whatever you had surgery for was resolved and all is well.   Thumbup

I started reading thinking I hope the poor guy didn't drop the soap.

I'm glad you managed to escape form your "detention" and they didn't mess around to much with ya insides.

Have a great Christmas and try to repress those 5 horrid days!!   Biggrin

At first, I was thinking, what in the hell did you post on here  Lol

I would have felt extra and disturbingly vulnerable wearing just the normal easy rear access hospital patient attire.

Bahahahaha!!

Absolutely awesome! Thanks for sharing this, it did make me laugh out loud! I thought at first “oh no! wtf did he get involved in?”

Your wife sounds like an amazing wit.

I hope you are recovering well from what was done! And now you can be home for the festivities!
