Digital ID cards again in the UK
#71
All they're doing is pushing people underground.  Places like TOR.  I've not used TOR yet and honestly from what I've heard and read I'm not interested in doing so.

I've heard "we need ID's to protect our keeeds!" to now, "Ileeeegals!".  Come on, we're not stupid.
And I'm gone.... Like a crack in the past....

Put it this way, if digital ID were introduced, used, and enforced for tracking purposes, or for the detection of criminal activities.

The vast majority of the Gammon racists would find themselves in front of a judge...
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

So far I've download "I2P", "TOR" and "Freenet" as well as a list of IP addresses for popular websites.  I'm not sure this will help anything, but I'm not interested in uploading my IP address.

I just read that the system they intend to use was cracked / breached in less than two minutes!  And it's not like companies and even the government hasn't had leaks of our data as is.

This is a nightmare waiting to happen.

And lets be real, child abuse has unfortunately been around much longer than the internet.  Granted, the internet can make that abuse easier to spread but they're punishing everyone for what a few do.  And those few will continue to do it.

I watched a documentary called "Chicken Hawk".  It's about men who love boys (and it's seriously disturbing).  But the point I'm trying to make is that this was before the internet was widely adopted.  Yet they had groups sharing abuse images.  Mailing lists, "magazines" etc.

The government(s) are making these people go even deeper underground.  I want them easily seen, easily found.  I'm all for stopping child abuse.  But forcing everyone to give up their private information isn't the way.  And it won't stop it.

And illegals?  Again, been happening long before the internet.

I hate what the modern internet has become.  I'm so fatigued of AI, social media sites (don't use them myself), influencers, ads and more.  We need to reset the internet.  Go back to the "web 1.0".  A parallel internet that's completely separate from the one we currently use would be great.
And I'm gone.... Like a crack in the past....
