another link says it’s capable of going into space.

dont know but looks interesting.  They are not always honest about capabilities but that is part of war deception I guess.

at least no one is claiming its a ufo drone *snicker*

There is zero evidence this is either 6th Gen or a fighter other than not having a tail. This is almost certainly JH-XX, and will perform an FB-111 type mission. It may have some air to air capability but that doesn’t make it a fighter any more than the B-21 is.
Logic is dead. Long live BS.

China thinks deception is more useful than truth from what I’ve seen in my opinion and all that.

ramming Philippine ships then they say the Philippine ship hit them…

"anchor dragging" repeatedly cutting multiple important underwater cables…

so I believe basically nothing they announce.

time will tell, it always does.

It's not frosted all over from cryogenic rocket fuel so assuming it can't go to space.  Otherwise it looks cool, like an arrow head.

The claim is that it can reach over 65,000 feet. The third engine may be a high altitude, low oxygen engine to assist with that.

I know you like precise language. This is all I know:

1.The pictures are circulating widely. Thus "reveal" - I based my thread title off the Twitter one.

2. It does not look like it’s "announced" as:

But these photos are being "leaked"/distributed. Along with photos of a second tailless craft that is in the link I just posted.

second plane:

So either China is distributing them or some other nation.

That's my take also.  I'm sure its radar cross-section is reduced just because of the lack of tail surfaces, but it doesn't look all that stealthy overall.

Given the cranked wing leading edges and the overall aspect ratio I would surmise it's designed for super cruise at around Mach 2, but they have to do it the brute force way by adding an extra engine instead of with high-tech engine design.  That will give it the range and speed to be able to confront US forces in the Phillippine Sea out beyond Taiwan and the rest of the first island chain, but at the cost of endurance.

According to one of the designers, the third engine is primarily for power generation, which also says a lot about their engine technology.
