Chicago's Democrat mayor says city's finances are at the point of no return

Please tell me it wasn't AI.  (which is notoriously off target many times: https://www.the-independent.com/news/hea...03992.html )

So, anecdotal evidence that a multi-billion-dollar AI industry supported by various tech giants is completely useless in one of its major functions because a news article says some dumbass self-diagnosed with Chat GPT?

OK, if you say so

Which is not the AI service used, and Grok can cite the 24 web page sources where the figures which Grok pulled the information from, as well as the X.com posts with the pertinent information, if you like?

Below is just a list of webpages, but the link will show ALL  the sources referenced, so even though the quote is an amalgamation of information, one can search the 52 different sources used. Which is probably more sources than the FREE Chat GPT uses for how to get sodium out of your diet. That supposedly is the value of Grok, not only does news sources, but it will pull posts discussing those news sources as well.

Doors locked at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Uptown with Medicare funding set to end

They got caught screwing The Public!  Shocked2
Quote:A letter, sent by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said the hospital will no longer be a part of the Medicare program, effective this Saturday.

The agency says Weiss is out of compliance in nursing services, food and dietary services, physical environment and emergency services.

I want to know if it's an opinion piece or if it's backed up with something.

Every link to every source is at the link(s) I included in the post, EVERY ONE. These aren't made numbers; they give ranges based on news sources and posts.

The news source links take you directly to the professional journalist's articles, and yeah, if it was a news story from the Chicago Tribune, I pretty much took it as gospel

There is enough empirical evidence that the city of Chicago is still full a graft and corruption that it will dwarf any losses from federal funding in 2025 and 2026 was and still has been my bone of contention

That's my evidence, would I bet my life on it, no, but I'm reasonably sure enough to post it here.

So far, the evidence against it is an article about an unrelated subject?
