Candy Store…
#21
Wow! This reminds me of when I was a little girl. My grandfather would occasionally take me to the local candy store. He'd give me a paper bag and let me fill it with whatever I wanted. Even then, I wasn't A big sweets eater.and most of it would end up rotting until my mother would Eventually throw it away.  But it still brings back some great memories.

Was it next door to a cannabis dispensary?

I was looking but I didn't see if they had Ting.  If you're not familiar, it's a Jamaican grapefruit soda and it's delicious.  Try some if you can.

Very impressive.

I love chewy sweets as well.

I watch my sugar intake, but there was a time, and still is occasionally

Reminds me of when I found Colt Bolts in an old country store in Kentucky. Essentially a peanut butter cup on steroids.

It's the only candy Ive ever ordered for my personal consumption, and I have always loved the weird and wonderful combinations

Colts Chocolates

and yes they have them at one of the local hemp markets, but they suck they are old and were sold at a discount. Much better to order a tin directly from Colts Chocolates and then amputate your foot.

The dark chocolate version is the bomb, they are too big and need to be about half the size they are

it is weird the pictures of that place are liminal

like it is in mallworld

Quote:I have several locations that all feel like part of a separate “world”, distinct from normal dreams. They always feel extremely vivid and there is a profound sense of nostalgia accompanied by the feeling that everything here is exactly the way it should be. I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this for more than a decade now. Please let me know if you recognize them or remember similar dreams. Dm me if you’re not comfortable.

There is a giant futuristic mall which seems centered on a bizarre toy store. Sometimes there is sometimes a big food court with people I recognize.

There is a seemingly endless mostly empty and poorly lit library (think pictures of “liminal spaces” I’ve seen here.

There is an idealized version of what seems like the Venice boardwalk in LA with a big skate/amusement park at one end.

There is a massive futuristic airport with bizarre forms of planes which I sometimes get on and take off.

There is a massive aquarium complex in the middle of a forest. It is almost always night and always dark but well lit by blue light from the tanks. In the center is a huge hourglass shaped tank with two humpback whales.

There is a different “daytime” version of a brightly lit, indoor marine museum which seems to be in a city.
