Call For Artists
#1
Okay who are all of my art peeps?  I want to know who you are and what you do.

As for me. I got my start as an inker in the comic book industry.  I have published work in titles for DC, Marvel, Dark Horse and Image.  After that I worked for "the mouse" for 14 years and now I'm at an independent studio doing virtual production. I build out sets and environments using Unreal Engine, Maya and a bunch of other 3D software.

I still do traditional art in my spare time as well. In fact, I'm currently working on a little comic book idea that I hope to share here in the near future. But more on that later...

If you're an artist (professional or hobbyist) share a little about what you do. I want to know who my people are.

Hey there, fellow artist!  I've been drawing for as long as i can remember and I'm sure you are the same. I like telling stories through Art so I started making comic books and I've got a published comic book on the way!

I'm a 3d render artist specializing in album art and product packaging. I've done graphics for Jon Connor, Young Buck, some of Three 6 Mafia, the comedian Deray Davis, and more. I've also designed mylar for some local cannabis dispensaries.

I love that you tell stories through your art. Me too! Where an when might I be able to acquire a copy of your soon to be published comic? I'd love to check it out.

@TSK.this is amazing work. Thanks for sharing. I especially like the six pack design and the Gems cover.  Oh, and is that a comic book I see up top?

I'd be interested to hear what 3D.software yoh work with. Maybe we can talk shop sometime.

I've had three graphic novels published in the 80's and did some Very Small Press work (Mu, something in a collection with Usagi Yojimbo, Jerry the Vampire, and a bunch of others I've forgotten.)  Did minicomix back in the day as well (Brad Foster got me started) and was kind of in the same group with Donna Barr, Trina Robbins, Cat Yronwoode, Jane Fancher, and the like.)

Ah, those were the days.

Currently finishing a set of black and white illos (channeling my inner Bernie Wrightson) for a book on cryptids.

Ah, I think we missed each other by a bit.  I was most active in the industry in the mid to late 90's.

Yup.  I was selling (a small handful of)short stories by then.  I've probably seen your inking, though.
