the parallel i've been thinking about is this:

we have laws preventing the use of cadavers for perverse purposes of lust (necrophilia).
we have laws preventing the use of cadavers for perverse purposes of gluttony (cannibalism).
why not laws preventing the use of cadavers for perverse purposes of vanity (whatever the hell this is)?

all three prohibitions could be said to be morally motivated, and share similar (addressable) health, hygiene, and pregiven-consent concerns.

Well to be honest, what they are using is AlloClae which according to:

is FDA cleared and and is sterilized of previous DNA to prevent rejection and immune responses. 

So I look at it as coming from cadaver DOE. No different then using animal parts for medically necessary surgeries.
