Obligatory quote:
Quote:“The Electric Monk was a labour-saving device, like a dishwasher or a video recorder. Dishwashers washed tedious dishes for you, thus saving you the bother of washing them yourself, video recorders watched tedious television for you, thus saving you the bother of looking at it yourself; Electric Monks believed things for you, thus saving you what was becoming an increasingly onerous task, that of believing all the things the world expected you to believe. Unfortunately”

Dispelling the perception and sentiment that some entity's larger purpose drive our existence seems a losing argument.

The "LLM" trained on all their approved literature and additional "training" from humans can create an interface which can recall and convey whatever they trainers want.  Additional training is always needed to cope with internal disharmonies and contradictions...

It appears one of the first "faith" applications of LLM so-called "AI."

It helps the hosts spread their distinct faith, and embracing the history and rituals for people to absorb.

I suppose that other self-affirming faith literature will be fated for a similar program suite.

Note that this also illuminates the distinctions of Buddhism which often make people say... this is not a faith as much as a life-style.

But many of us know... faith is self-defined... to gain or lose faith is a deliberate choice of the individual... or it never was faith... just programming, social and individual.
