Destiny: Rising
#1
I'm not sure how many fans there are here of the Destiny franchise but I just wanted to give a heads up that there is now a f2p mobile Destiny game available, Destiny: Rising. The game dropped last month, I was a couple weeks late to the party, and I have to say that it is a job well done. The aesthetics, graphics, story-telling and gameplay is very true to the originals.

Has anyone else tried it? I'm curious as to your thoughts. I thought the main campaign was enjoyable, it took me about 4-5 days to finish it playing VERY casually (an hour here, 30 minutes there). Playing the touchscreen phone takes getting used to as I'm still constantly hitting wrong buttons accidently but I attribute that more towards my sausage fingers and thumbs. My only real complaint is endgame progression following the main campaign, there's no god direction as to what paths to take to progress the other playable characters.

Anyone else?

Long ago, I played one of the series....

I found it an amazing new experience... I definitely liked it...

It "felt" distinctly different in game play, but not in a bad way.

Sadly, i was never able to pursue it since they wen the road of subscriptions and
character advancement or flair for money.  It became about what you could show off...

... and... I'm gone.

I was much the same, Destiny 1 I played thru 3-4 expansions then it started to get dumb so quit. Same scenario with Destiny 2. Don't get me wrong, had a blast with both while I played and am enjoying this one too but when it gets stupid to me I'm out.
