Saw this article floatin’ around about a British anthropologist claiming he found the body of Jesus and the Ark of the Covenant in a hidden chamber under the Great Pyramid. At first I thought, “Alright, here we go again,” but the more I read, the more I got kinda curious.
The guy says he’s spent over a decade researching ancient texts, scanning pyramids, and connecting dots across religions—and somehow it all leads back to Egypt. He even claims the Sermon on the Mount happened at the Great Pyramid. Now, that’s a stretch, but it’s interesting, I’ll give him that.
I’m not totally buying it, especially since most folks believe Jesus was buried in Jerusalem. Plus, with all the people who've studied those pyramids, you'd think somebody would've stumbled across something like this by now. Still… I don’t know. Something about it makes you wonder if there's more to the story than we’ve been told.
I wouldn’t bet the farm on it, but I’m not dismissing it outright either. If this turns out to be legit, it could change a whole lot of what we think we know. Curious what y’all make of it.

Did you pay for anything? You know, you'll never get the money back. LOL.
None of this is credible. One minute he owns a printer business in Canada, then he's calling himself a doctor.
He's also claiming that someone was writing in cuneiform at about the time of the Jewish exile. There's thousands of years time difference there.
The whole story (and even parts of the videos) seem to be from the misremembered plot of the movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
Also he makes the claim that things described clearly in alleged ancient texts, are in fact something else entirely, and he makes no explanation on why he believes this?
And, how would an archaeologist apply scientific method? You can't exactly experiment on ancient history.
That’s amazing, there seems to be a few Jesus corpses around the place, in Egypt this time and next to the Ark no less
I recon they keep digging, might even find the holy grail
What are the odds of that, well done
Now for those silly sceptics

Not buying it.
If you are a Believer, then there is no body.
I cannot recite the religious explanation here, it's been awhile, but Jesus' body ascended into heaven.

It's amazing how all that research failed to note that Pontius Pilate -- the key figure in the story -- was NOT the governor of Egypt and failed to tie it in to the four known and well-attested governors of Egypt at that time:
Also, there's no explanation why Pilate, having discovered that Jesus was from Galilee, sends him off to Flaccus (confusing Herod -- who is in Jerusalem-- and Flaccus -- nowhere near Jerusalem) to be tried crucified (ran out of crosses, did he?) And how a Jewish client-king of Judea (Herod: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herod_the_Great) miraculously got turned into a Roman governor (won the prize on the "Governor for a week" game show?)
And the timeline... Pilate sends him to Herod who sends him back who deals with the Sanhedrin (who demand execution) and then the whole stations of the cross and execution by afternoon... in one day. There's no mention of hauling him across the river in the Stations of the Cross (Giza is on the other bank of the Nile from Cairo) -- surely something like that would have been noticed by someone.(reference timeline by one church is here: https://www.northheightscoc.org/a-timeli...urrection/)
Setting Giza in there is absurd (nobody had offices in the GP... believe me, there would be traces) and that's just the objections that I can come up with off the top of my head without reading his presentation (which seems to be problematic. I've downloaded it but it doesn't open. Probably need to rename it.)
...and finally, who are these guys and what's their credentials? Researchers who don't seem to understand the basic scenario and the major players sure don't sound like any scientist I personally know.

Maybe it was a "Spirit" that was seen ascending, and his body remained as the discarded earthy vessel?
Whatever the truth is here, with all the clickbait and paywalls these days coupled with the Narcissism that is running rampant, I have to think that it's just an unverifyable story and not evidence to proove anything.
But when my new CNC machine is made, I'm going to knock out a few Arks Of The Covenant and stick them on Etsy.
