Apocalypse running. Only 2 events now.
#21
It did happen once.  BUT.  There's a problem.   Daniel prophesies are END TIME PROPHESIES.   What happened in the BC era doesn't qualify as a fulfillment because that wasn't the end times.  When are the end times?   When the 70th week of Daniel 9 runs.   Did that happen in the 1st century AD?  No.  Because of what the prophecy says.

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

That obviously hasn't happened yet.  And... There are still prophesies running.

As I pointed out earlier.

Luke 21
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

The times of the Gentiles is still running so the 70th week has never run.  And that's the end times.   Daniel has to repeat in it's entirety.   And so far the US has conquered 2 nations in the middle east.   Iran when it falls will make 3.  And the ram and goat prophecy will have it's carcass. Which is what Matthew 24 is looking for.
27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29Immediately after the tribulation of those days

Also as to above.  It's Jesus Christ making a prophecy that Daniel repeats.   Also I'd point out this from Matthew 24 as well.
15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Now where do you find the abomination of Desolation?

In Daniel 11:31
30For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.
31And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
32And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Jesus Christ is telling us that Daniel repeats.

Weird stuff dude, I like it. Doesn't really fit with lived experience and I can just literally look around, but cool none the less.

Imagine my surprise back in 2001 when I figured this out and then watched Iraq and Afghanistan get it.   But then it went into a 22 year pause  then this happens.

Now to see what's so terrible about the "day's of the tribulation of the carcass."   With Iran being the carcass.

Try some Rhapsodomancy. Doing the silly stuff is important https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhapsodomancy
Quote:There were various methods for practicing rhapsodomancy. Sometimes, individuals would write several verses or sentences from a poet on multiple pieces of wood, paper, or similar material, shake them together in an urn, and pick one at random. Sometimes, they cast dice on a table that was covered with verses; the one on which the die landed was said to contain the prediction.

Take your time and choose objects with meaning and have fun.

So I put this post on a different reddit so I thought it should go here.   Simply put the Apocalypse has a timeline.   And we're almost 2000 years into  a 3000 year event.  And here it's put as simply as possible.
After careful study I found several prophecies that have timelines   And put together they seem to indicate the Apocalpse is already running but has to end in the 2030s.  The 2000th anniversary of the death of Jesus Christ actually.   Supposedly April of 2033.
But here's a specific prophecy on that.

John 2
18Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21But he spake of the temple of his body.

2nd Peter 3
8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Revelation 21
22And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

So the temple of his body is restored in 3000 years so take off a thousand for the reign of the saints and boom.  April of 2033. 2000 years after his death.

One of the verses, Psalm 90:4, stating that a thousand years is like a day to God, explains the idea in even smaller units of time, down to a watch (or cry) in the night, which is approximately every 15 minutes. So, a literal interpretation would have 1,000 years equating to about 15 minutes in God's experience of time.

I believe that these verses are trying to describe that God's passage of time is basically meaningless compared to man's. I wouldn't use that 1,000 years = 1 God day in my figures unless it were proven to me that it was used that way in the common language of the time. Many verses make that same statement, so maybe, but one verse is a summary of the other in most cases, so I'm not entirely convinced it was meant to be a literal mathematical equation. No man, angel, or even Jesus Christ himself knows the exact day or time; only God the Father knows for sure.
