Humble Suggestion RE Replies/Quotes

Hi team,

I have a suggestion to avoid clutter, confusion and streamline a neat view and ease of reading.
What about having the embedded video, thumbnails ,and images, that are in a quote or reply to someone, automatically scrubbed?

That is to say, if I reply to someone's post that has a large image that they put or a video taking up half the screen, the only thing to be automatically quoted in the box above my reply text should be the text that person typed? 

What do you think?

Videos, images, and quotes should do that automatically but I may have inadvertently disabled it. I'll review the settings.

Surely you notice they repeat ad nauseum in a reply ; I've been manually deleting the links when I remember, in my replies.

I think that's perfect, it seems to keep the link text but not display it so that's good.
I tested w Preview not full post.

Yes much better, thank you. This also fixes the problem where if you quote a resized image such as:

[img=80x120]https://pngimg.com/uploads/pokemon/pokemon_PNG11.png[/img]



it would show up in the quote at full size.
