Can't move beyond your shattered hopes for the future? Live in the moment!
Not saying there aren't super enlightened zen guru people who have transcended time and ego and exist as a single unified consciousness consistent across every moment and live as their best selves in the fullness of the now, yeah sure whatever, I'm only pointing out that "live in the moment" is also a great philosophy for cowards who want to avoid the difficult and often painful work of self growth.
