Is this of some concern

Been a while, good to still see you around. Reality does not operate on what we believe, that is why science started to sort out the facts from the fiction. Helped get us out of the stone age. Still a lot in the gray zone, doing better than past generations. The only dumb question is the one never asked.

Lot of science on the alien issues, as for proof beyond reasonable doubt, we are all being played. Does hint at a dark side to how it all works. More so on the human side than the alien side with the current state of affairs.

I don't expect to convince you of anything. Just hope you don't stop looking if you really want to know.

I think I've been watching too much Vallee stuff lol,

Having said that, I've thought along similar lines for a long time. From Roswell to Rendlesham and all the way down to the tic tacs. From Greer down to Grusch and all that remote viewing mush. People want to believe, that's the truth of it.

I'm getting old now and have followed this stuff all my life.

People want to explore new boundaries too. Still a lot of unknowns in how life does work. Now that the Earth is mapped out and reaching out into space, where too next? What will we find?

Belief does help fill in the gaps between how we perceive and how they are. Even science started as just an idea. I like to certainty it has provided in dealing with reality.

I do believe there is still a lot in the gray zone

I too believe that there is still a lot in the gray zone. We are a mystery unto ourselves.

I suppose too that those who believe in alien visitation are less harmful that those of a 'religious' persuasion, The religious are easily offended and dangerous.

second one was during an abduction experience which happened five times it looks like the fifth time something went wrong, and the small creatures turned into men in overalls who left in a black helicopter at high speed when they found out that something went wrong.  Jacques Vallee's Most Controversial UFO Theory - Part 2 - YouTube

This one creeps me out more than anything, the number of alleged abductions over decades, the things that have been done to these abductees. I'd like to know how many of these abductees were anywhere near where a helicopter could land.
I'm sorry, I don't have any links but I remember a whistle-blower coming out saying air force had a team using advanced tech  to 'fake' alien attacks on cattle.
And! Another thing that's really irritating me, this spinning lump of space rock that's going to fly by, respected scientists are jumping on the 'alien ship' story, WHY? Well do you remember the whistle-blower that said we have until 2027 before they intoduce themselves to us officially, I'm convinced they are using this lump of rock as a cover story, because everything has to be 'spun' to their narrative.
