That really didn't feel like a 6.7, but it was fun. I felt it at about a 4. No P waves (due to building construction) were felt ahead of swaying which lasted about 20 seconds.

Since posting, took the earthquake quiz and this was my score:



And since I started this thread it has been downgraded to a 5.2, which seems much more correct.

What I take away is that The Japanese have a way better warning system.

And the Oarfish was only a little right..

Seems to have occurred on the southern stretch of the very busy Elsinore Fault.

No injuries, building damage reported, just a lot of rattled nerves and broken glasses. I haven't heard about the status of the pies yet. They should be okay.

People in Julian said it lasted about 2 minutes due to repeating aftershock.

Away from the epicenter we felt a jolt to start swaying or jolt then shaking.

Scientifically, The danger zone for this being a foreshock diminishes with each passing hour. But could still yet go again. The Elsinore Fault is 2 faults west of The San Andreas, and is one of four major parallel running fault systems West of the transform boundary.

Synchronistically, we only get moderate or stronger Earthquakes during resurrection week. The 7.2 was on Easter (April 10th) and this was the day after Palm Sunday, with the first foreshock on Palm Sunday
